    Hello! I’m Mrs. Koenke (Kink)

I was born in Jefferson City, Missouri.  After high school, I got married and became the mom of four beautiful daughters. I homeschooled my girls and enjoyed farm life and I realized I had a love for teaching. So, I put myself through college and graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education. My love for learning and teaching has inspired me to get my Masters of Arts in Reading. My philosophy in teaching is to be the Wild Card that motivates and engages my students to develop a love for learning.

When I am not teaching or working on my masters, I enjoy my family, being outdoors, reading, cooking, camping, and watching a good movie.

    Facts about my family:

My husband has been in law enforcement for 26 years, but he also has a degree in physical education. My oldest daughter, Karlie, works as a CNA and loves taking care of people. She also has a beautiful baby which makes me a grandma. :) Her husband is an I.T. for the Smithton school. The next on the list is Samantha, she also has a love for taking care of others and is about to start nursing school. Sierra is a Senior this year (2021/2022) at Cole Camp High School, her next step in life may be William Woods University. Last but not least is Grace, she is going to be a Freshman starting this school year (2021). She is the family comedian, loves to be on her phone, play softball, shoot skeet, take care of her animals, and go fishing. As you can see, I am very proud of my family and spending time with them is very important to me.

I am very excited to be teaching here at Cole Camp Elementary, and I look forward to our 4th grade adventure!
