Mrs. Shanda Miller
Shanda Miller is a 2000 graduate of Warsaw High School. After high school, Mrs. Miller attended Missouri State University in Springfield, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in 2004. In 2005, she married her college sweetheart, Weston Miller, of Warsaw. Mrs. Miller and her husband have two wonderful boys, Mason and James. Mason is in fourth grade, and James is in 1st grade.
In 2007, Mrs. Miller began her first teaching position. Her pursuit into education lead her to find her love and passion for Family and Consumer Science. In 2009, Mrs. Miller completed her master's degree in Career and Technical Education with an emphasis in Family and Consumer Science. Over the course of her career, Mrs. Miller has taught all levels of high school English Language Arts and several Family and Consumer Science courses. During her time as an ELA instructor, Mrs. Miller made sure to emphasis the necessity of college and career ready students on a daily basis. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Miller has also sponsored the following school organizations: FCCLA, drama, speech and debate, junior class and freshman class.
This will be Mrs. Miller's fourteenth year in education and she is ready to enjoy her second year as a Bluebird. "Go, Bluebirds!"
